Verified ReviewerPurchased tickets that were not available - Seller not vetted
They did not vet the seller and they sold tickets they didn’t. After 4 months, they notify me.
I bought the tickets early because of availability and price.
Now I can’t get similar tickets for the same price and they won’t compensate me for the difference. Therefore I can’t attend because now they are out of my price range.
I purchased tickets on June 14 for the Iron Bowl 2025. On Oct 4th, I received an email from SeatGeek notifying me that my money was being returned because the tickets were not available.
Yes, I got my money back, but now the tickets are over $500 more than they were in June. I asked Customer Service to make it right by providing me with comparable tickets that are available and are over $500 more, but they refused. They did offer $150, which does not compensate me for the extra $1,000 plus that I would have to spend to replace the tickets I purchased. They waited 4 months to tell me, and I thought I had tickets secured.
I could have looked for tickets then and possibly found cheaper tickets. I feel like SeatGeek owes me comparable tickets; otherwise, I can't afford to go to the game now.
- Ease of buying the tickets initially
- Tickets were not verified before they sold them
Preferred solution: Comparable tickets for the same price as the tickets I purchased that were not valid. Tickets are now more than $500 each more than they were when I purchased the tickets. I can't afford to replace the tickets at $1,000 plus extra.
User's recommendation: Don't buy from Seat Geek - They don't verify that tickets are valid

I purchased 5 tickets for an event a couple of days ago. While reviewing the receipt, it suggested that I purchase a parking voucher for the event.
So, I did. After clicking the link to the voucher, I was asked a question: 'How many tickets? You will all be seated together.' I answered '5' because that's how many tickets I needed. I then made the payment, and while reviewing the receipt, I realized I purchased 5 parking vouchers for $155.00.
I have been sending message after message to this company and have yet to receive an answer.
Their return policy is simple: no returns. I attached a picture of the question they asked while purchasing the parking voucher.
- Good pricing
- Good selection
- Not clear enough

Verified ReviewerMy tickets don't work
Be persistent and follow up on your claim.
My tickets didn't scan because they were sold to someone else. Both tickets were already scanned. There was no assistance from SeatGeek to help with the situation at the time of the event.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Buy tickets from a different source.
Missing paid for tickets
I paid for two tickets to watch the Toronto Blue Jays play the Astros, and the tickets never appeared. But I was charged on my credit card for the tickets.
The way your help thing is set up does not have any options for missing tickets, so I need someone to help me find the tickets. They are not in my wallet; they are not attached to the SeatGeek app. I don't know what happened to them. I just know that I was charged on my credit card for them.
I have the evidence; it says SeatGeek, and it shows the amount right beside it, but no tickets are anywhere. There is a picture below from my credit card showing my payment to SeatGeek in Canadian dollars for $96.48.
There is another set of tickets that I purchased for over $200, but I have those tickets. It's just the first set that I do not have.

Verified Reviewer |Cannot find my tickets
You cannot contact SeatGeek by phone. I tried two numbers.
The first directed me to the online support, which I had already tried. The second basically said, 'We're not interested, goodbye.' SeatGeek, I'm sure by design, makes it impossible to contact them.
I tried to resolve my issue with the online chatbot. After about 24 hours, there has been no response.
- Cannot speak to human
Preferred solution: Personal contact
User's recommendation: Use another ticket provider
Fraudulent tickets
1st time I ever had issues with SeatGeek but unable to help me with my issues.
Keep getting the run around from the seatgeek chat bot. Unable to speak with a person to help me out while I'm standing in line with fraudulent tickets.
Spoke with Dodgers Stadium box office for help. They were able to look up the tickets and they were under someone else's name. They did not release the tickets after purchase.
So now I had to buy 2 more tickets to be able to attend the game. I have email confirming sale and bank statement.
- Never had issues with them
- Really bad customer service unable to solve my issue
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Need to have someone to speak with specially when that person is at the event.

Verified ReviewerSeatGeek makes it hard to do simple tasks, especially with no customer service phone line.
Several days ago, I closed my account on Seatgeek, not knowing they still had control of the tickets that I originally tried to delist from their site. Apparently, I did it wrong.
So, after finally finding a Seat Geek support email link (there is no customer service phone), I asked what to do and was finally told by 'Karla' that I had to open up another account under a different email address, and she would work on it. Setting up a new email address was another frustrating hassle. Karla's 'working on it' took several days and all those hoops to jump through. Many links on the path gave me an error message.
Navigation on the site is therefore deplorable. So, after begging Karla again to simply get me access and release control of my tickets, she finally told me to simply go back to the original seller's website and go through their process to retrieve my tickets.
After almost an hour, I did figure out how to get control of my tickets, but I could not send them to myself, or even to the second email I'd set up. So, I sent them to my wife.
- Site navigation and personal ticket sales
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Avoid selling tickets on Seatgeek
